If there’s one thing about Diddy, it’s that he knows how to throw one hell of a party. And on Wednesday night, the music mogul proved just that when he threw his son, Justin Combs, a huge, luxurious 27th birthday bash in Miami.
As reported, Sean “Diddy” Combs canceled his famous New Year’s Eve party on Monday (Dec 28). The hip-hop star took to Instagram to announce the disappointing news, telling his friends and family that the bash was a no-go, in order to keep everyone “safe and healthy.”
“In efforts to keep everyone safe & healthy, unfortunately, WE ARE NOT HAVING A NYE PARTY THIS YEAR!” Diddy wrote on Instagram on Monday.
“I hope everyone had a blessed holiday and wish you all the best for the new year!” the music mogul added.
Diddy headed off anyone who might try to talk him back into hosting the party by reiterating—”ATTENTION: THIS IS TO EVERYONE, ALL OF MY FRIENDS & FAMILY … I’M NOT CHANGING MY MIND … SEE YOU ALL IN 2021! LOVE YOU! ❤️”
But on Wednesday night, Diddy had a change of heart when he and a host of family and friends packed into the Swan Restaurant to celebrate Justin‘s birthday before taking the party to VIctory Restaurant & Lounge, according to TMZ. Diddy partied and led the “Happy Birthday” song amongst a crowd of maskless attendees

Florida has very few COVID regulations, so Diddy was in the right place to party with celeb guests like Tyga and Chris Brown. There’s no doubt that Diddy goes all out for his family. The Bad Boy head honcho balled out on a custom-made Rolex for Justin, featuring a Diddy-designed family crest.
Just last week, Diddy celebrated his mom Janice Comb‘s 80th birthday and threw his mom a birthday celebration alongside a host of family and friends. In a video reposted by The Shaderoom, Diddy surprised his mom with a $1 million check and a brand-new Bentley.
