Joe and Melissa Gorga have finally sold their New Jersey home, after slashing the price several times over three years. The property sold for $2.5 million.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star took to social media earlier this week to share the good news.

“Our family home for the last 12 years is officially sold,” Melissa announced on her Instagram account.

“We’ve made so many memories in this home. We were blessed to be able to share so many of them with all of you, @bravotv, and the #RHONJ viewers,” Melissa wrote. “I love that I can always watch the reruns and remember the good times we had in it. I’m excited to start new beginnings with my family.”

The couple completed construction on the house in 2009, and the residence hit the market several times over the years without attracting a buyer. The 6 bed/7.5 bath residence was often featured on the long-running Bravo series.

The reality TV duo placed the mansion on the market in 2017 for $3.5 million. The listing did not entice a buyer so the couple dropped the price to $3.3 million in 2018, and down to $2.95 million in 2019.

Joe Gorga took to Instagram in July to deliver a personal sales pitch.

“It’s back on the market, baby! … You should be so lucky to live in it,” the RHONJ husband declared.

The Gorgas kept the asking price the same, and a deal was eventually struck for $2.5 million. The house is set on over 2 acres and boasts a pool area with a stone patio and an outdoor kitchen.

Listing photos reveal that the couple made changes to the home to attract a wider buyer base. The color palette throughout the house had been neutralized, and modern furniture was utilized for staging. Gold tones that were reportedly inspired by the movie “Scarface” were toned down to a more neutral white and gray.

The property is located in the “exclusive Pond section” of Montville, NJ, and features a bridal staircase, a two-story great room with Juliet balcony, and impressive woodwork. A gourmet kitchen, outfitted with high-end appliances and a center island, opens to a casual dining area and family room. The 9100 square foot Colonial also boasts a decorative ceiling and a formal dining room. The master suite features a vaulted ceiling and a fireplace. The finished basement includes a gym, a home theater, a recording studio, and a walk-in wine room.

The Gorgas relocated to their vacation home on the Jersey Shore to ride out the pandemic. It remains unclear where the family will settle next.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is on hiatus.
