Fans know that Erika announced that she had split from her husband in November after 21 years of marriage. Erika has remained tight-lipped on the details behind the breakup, but Us Weekly reported that it’s very likely that cameras will capture the story behind the couple’s divorce, during Season 11. Production for the reality show kicked off in October.

Tom rarely appears on RHOBH alongside his much younger wife, since she joined the series as a full-time cast member in 2015.

“People are always like, ‘Oh, you guys don’t see each other a lot.’ But when we do see each other, it’s 100 percent, full-on attention,” the reality star commented in 2017. “This is what people don’t understand. It’s not a detriment to the relationship. It’s better than someone being in your face all the time and you’re not even present.”

Erika has shared that she was always by her husband’s side during their first ten years of marriage. However, sources have since reported that the couple had an “unconventional marriage” and spent lots of time apart in recent years.

Tom is dealing with multiple lawsuits amid his ongoing divorce.

As reported, earlier this month a Chicago federal judge froze Tom’s assets after the attorney and his law firm failed to explain where at least $2 million went from the 2018 Lion Air flight settlement.

Tom and Erika are being sued by Edelson PC, on behalf of a number of Boeing plane crash victims. The suit claims that the couple’s divorce filing is a “sham” to “fraudulently protect Tom’s and Erika’s money from those that seek to collect on debts owed by Tom and his law firm GK,” the lawsuit alleges.

“No matter what your personal financial situation is, no matter what kind of pressures you are under, if you touch client money, you are going to be disbarred and quite possibly charged criminally,” Judge Durkin said during a December 14 contempt of court hearing—noting that it’s “ethics 101.”

Tom’s lawyer, Keith Griffin, alleged that the powerhouse attorney was secretly hospitalized for a “serious illness” back in July, which thwarted his ability to pay back some of the families in full. Tom supposedly “couched everything” related to the Lion crash because of the illness, according to court docs, and alleged that he was away from his firm for several weeks. Griffin later expressed concern over Tom’s mental state, according to a LA Times report.

“I’m unsure that he understands either the nature or the gravity of the current situation,” Griffin told the judge.

Griffin told the court that he had no explanation for Tom’s unpaid debts, but  clarified that Tom did not have the $2 million. His firm reportedly only has $15k in the bank.

Meanwhile, back on the Bravo front, Lisa Rinna is promising that Erikas divorce tea will be spilled during the upcoming season.

“You better believe she’s going to talk about it,” Rinna recently wrote on social media.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is currently in production.
