A few of your favorite hip-hop couples will star in a Love & Hip Hop spinoff where they will try to repair their toxic relationships.

The couples include Love & Hip Hop Hollywood‘s Ray J and Princess Love, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta‘s Kirk and Rasheeda Frost, Love & Hip Hop New York‘s Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris, former Flavor of Love star, Deelishis, and her newly-wedded husband, Central Park Five’s Raymond Santana, Jr., and comedian Michael Blackson and his boo, Miss Yada. The series will follow the couples on their journey to reconciliation and healing.
Love & Hip Hop fans are very familiar with the drama following Ray J and Princess Love who have been married for a little over four years and have two kids together. In May 2020, Princess filed for divorce and custody of their kids, then reneged on the motion after Ray J won her back.
However, a few months later, Ray J blindsided Princess when he filed for divorce and custody of the kids. The couple have tried to work it out in the Zeus special, “The Conversation,” but it seems that just wasn’t enough.
Kirk and Rasheeda Frost are another couple that have been battling their toxic relationship. The LHHATL couple have had to deal with Kirk‘s infidelities—one of them leading to a side baby that Rasheeda has accepted. Kirk and Rasheeda have been married for 21 years, have two sons (Kirk has a total of 7 kids), and is successfully building their empire together, which has often been their reason for not splitting up.
For four years, we’ve watched Yandy go through the wringer as she awaited the love of her life, Mendeecees, to be released from prison. Though we witnessed the day Mendeecees was released from prison on LHHNY’s last season, this will be his first show since his release.
Deelishis has come a long way from winning Flavor Flav‘s heart on Flavor of Love‘s season two. Fast-forward to 14 years later and the model is married to Raymond Santana, Jr. who is famously known as one of the exonerated Central Park Five men. The couple jumped the broom in June surrounded by celebrity friends and family.
From the looks of their social media, it seems all is well with the couple, but after the news that the pair will be headed to couples counseling, we are shocked that this ‘perfect’ couple is in turmoil.
Comedian Michael Blackson is known for being a ladies man, so it’s no surprise that he and on-again-off-again girlfriend, Miss Rada, will be heading to patch things up.
The Love & Hip Hop spinoff will be loosely based on the throwback VH1 series, ‘Couples Therapy,’ and is set to air in 2021.
