Teresa Giudice’s New Man Luis Ruelas Sued By Ex For ‘Controlling And Abusive’ Behavior!

Teresa Giudice is reportedly “madly in love” with her boyfriend, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, but according to a new report by The Sun, her new beau has exhibited “controlling and abusive behavior” in the past.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has confirmed the new relationship, and both her ex, Joe Giudice, and Luis’ ex-wife, Marisa DiMartino, have extended their well wishes. 

Allegations made by Luis’ ex-fiancee tell a darker story. The details are revealed in a lawsuit filed in New Jersey on April 15, 2020. The woman alleged that the behavior occurred after the ex-couple became engaged in February 2019, through October 2019. 

The lawsuit alleged— “In October 2019, [Louie] abandoned [his ex-fiancée] in Provincetown, Massachusetts and then padlocked [her] out of the [New Jersey] home that they shared.”

“After some other instances of controlling, abusive behavior, [Louie] gave [his ex-fiancée] various gifts to induce [her] to continue her relationship with him,” the docs state. 

The woman, who has not been identified, is a licensed social worker. She claimed in the docs that Luis had gifted her with a social work-oriented company and that she was led to believe that she would maintain complete control. She alleged that Luis then “arrogated unto himself” exclusive control over the business. 

The woman claimed that Luis did this “with the intent to destroy and tortuously interfere with [her] business as a licensed social worker and to seek personal revenge against [her].” She also accused him of causing her to “suffer severe mental distress.”

She said that she was “threatened” after he expressed intent to “damage her educational degree in social work and her license as a social worker,” and to “contact her friends to damage her reputation.” The woman also stated that Luis did not allow her to collect belongings from their shared New Jersey home. 

She filed for a restraining order to stop him from taking over the business and requested that the court require him to cover her attorney fees. 

She ultimately dropped the suit on May 20. It remains unclear if an out of court settlement was reached.  

Luis is the co-founder of Digital Media Solutions and shares two children with his ex-wife, Marisa.
