Tori Spelling is set to sign on to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a “friend” of the cast. Denise Richards and Teddi Mellencamp made their exits at the end of Season 10, leaving fans wondering about an impending cast shakeup.

Tori will reportedly join Kyle Richards big sis, Kathy Hilton, both ladies set to appear in part-time roles.

A source spoke to Celeb and dished about the newest Bravolebs.

Tori Spelling is doing Beverly Hills’ Housewives with her mom, Candy. People who have followed Tori know her relationship with her mom has been contentious for many years. Kathy Hilton – Kyle Richards‘ and Kim Richards‘ sister- is also expected to join, and she has some issues with Candy as well,” the insider reported. “Tori is expected to join in a similar vein to Kathy – specifically as a friend of the Housewives. Tori is also expected to come on as Kyle’s friend.”

Tori and her mother have shared a contentious relationship, which shut down completely after Tori’s father died in 2006.

Candy told People in 2009 that she and her daughter were not speaking, and that the broken relationship influenced her decision to list the 56,000 sq. ft. mansion she shared with her husband, producer, Aaron Spelling. She noted that she would not have considered selling the property if she thought  she would mend fences with Tori, her husband, Dean McDermott, and their children, Liam, 12, and Stella, 11. The high profile couple has since welcomed three more children, Hattie, 7, Finn, 6, and Beau, 2.

“Someday my grandchildren will know who I am because of the trust funds I’ve set up, but I would like to be part of their lives now,” Candy said, noting a playroom planned for the children in her new luxury condo. “I would have loved to have built that playhouse for them.”

“It’s not like we’re not talking, we just haven’t talked. I love my mother. I’ve always loved her [and] no doubt she loves me. There’s no feud. We simply never meshed,” Tori told People, downplaying the family drama.

Tori confirmed to Andy Cohen that the mother/daughter duo is currently on good terms.

In 2019, Tori commented that she was disappointed that she was never asked to join RHOBH—but clarified that she couldn’t imagine mixing it up with the cast—despite her ties to Kyle Richards and others in the Bravo circle. She recently reiterated that RHOBH was one of her favorite shows—but as a viewer, not a participant.

“I would get eaten alive. I am too nice and a people pleaser to be, to get in those fights they get into,” Tori told Us Weekly.

Tori will be joining Kyle, Sutton Stracke, Lisa Rinna, Garcelle Beauvais, Dorit Kemsley and Erika Girardi. Crystal Kung Minkoff has also reportedly signed on to join the Season 11 cast.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return in April 2021.
