Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, Brandi Glanville, turned the tables on Andy Cohen, putting the Watch What Happens Live host in the hot seat on a recent episode of her podcast, “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered.”

Brandi Glanville asked the Bravo bigwig about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast shakeup that left Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge on the outside looking in.

“I felt like [Vicki and Tamra] told their entire stories and they both said that [you are] an ageist,” Brandi said. “They said you were going against them because they got too old.”

Tamra Judge alleged on a June episode of “Behind the Velvet Rope” podcast that Bravo wanted to transition to “younger Housewives.”  Andy shot down the claim, citing Real Housewives of New York vet, Ramona Singer. Ramona is 63, and Vicki is 58.

“If you look at the women on our shows, there are a lot of women that are really thriving in their 50s and late 50s. Yeah, no. I don’t care for that [remark],” he responded, adding that Vicki “to this day makes me absolutely laugh.”

“We just felt the show needed some new air,” Andy continued. “We needed to air it out and see where it went. These two women were so identifiable with it and will always be. I hope they will someday be back in some capacity.”

Andy hinted that the upcoming RHOC season will be unique, due to coronavirus hitting filming season.

“COVID kind of hit us but what I think people will see when the show begins is there’s something about Orange County. They are women dealing with some real serious stuff in their lives,” he said. “When the season starts, there is something that really grounds it to the core of what Orange County always was about.”

Brandi Glanville asked about his past friendship with RHONY alum, Carole Radziwill, who exited the series in 2018, after six seasons.

“We were in each other’s circle for years,” Andy said about Carole. “We didn’t talk on the phone. We didn’t email but I think we had genuine [love] for each other.”

Fans know that tensions boiled over between Carole and Andy during her final reunion appearance, after Carole accused the host of being “scared” of her co-star, Bethenny Frankel.

“I think she’s angry toward the show and me and she felt like I was up Bethenny’s ass,” Andy revealed.

Brandi Glanville pressed Andy about making a potential comeback to the RHOBH stage, after spottily appearing during Seasons 6, 9, and 10. Brandi was a full time cast member in Season 5. Andy didn’t commit to an answer, but admitted that she was “as close to being back” as she’s been “in a long time.”

“You’re not exactly friends with any of the women,” Andy quipped.

Brandi enlisted her teenage boys to plead her case, after reminding Andy that she was friends with Kyle and Kim Richards. Her sons, Mason, 17, and Jake, 13, joined in the convo to campaign for their mother’s return.

“I was wondering if you would do the right thing and give my mom her job back like you said you would because she was like the main focus of the whole season,” Jake said in a video to Andy. “And like get her money back so we can move out of this place and get her what she deserves.”

Fans know that Brandi claimed on camera that she had had an affair with Denise Richards, during Season 10.

Mason revealed that their father, Eddie Cibrian, would allow he and his brother to film the show if his mom wins back her diamond.

“You kind of milked her for everything this season and she hasn’t gotten half as much as the other Housewives. … I mean she’s the best woman I’ve ever met,” Mason added.

Andy, who was certainly intrigued by the family twist, responded, “That’s a discussion!”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premieres on October 14 at 10 pm, ET, on Bravo.
