Deavan Clegg has confirmed that she will not appear on the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Tell-All episode, despite previously promising to spill the tea about her tumultuous relationship with her husband, Jihoon Lee.
The TLC couple has not yet confirmed their breakup, but fans who have been following the duo know that Deavan Clegg returned to the states after hastily moving to South Korea to make a life with the father of her child.
Deavan is now dating model/actor, Topher Park, after accusing Jihoon and his parents of doing “vile things,” hinting on social media that her young daughter from a previous relationship was mistreated, during their time in South Korea. Deavan shares a toddler son, Taeyang, with her estranged husband.
’90 Day Fiance’ blogger, John Yates, tells AllAboutTheTea.com exclusively that Deavan Clegg is keeping tight-lipped about the drama due to the child abuse allegations that caused her to flee South Korea with her children.
“TLC helped Deavan return to Utah after she accused Jihoon of abusing Drascilla. Deavan wanted out, and she was happy to move on with a man who treated her better,” John Yates, tells AllAboutTheTea.com exclusively.
“The network doesn’t want Deavan anywhere near Jihoon due to the abuse allegations, so they asked them not to appear on the Tell All,” the source added.
Jihoon revealed that he had not received divorce papers, and Deavan is not Jihoon’s legal wife in the United States.
“Her marriage isn’t legal in the U.S. it’s only legal in South Korea. Jihoon can’t file for divorce there because South Korea has a specific adultery law which prohibits him from filing, because Deavan is in a new relationship. The only way she can file in the states for a Korean divorce is if she claims abandonment, and has no contact with Jihoon for 3 years.” AllAboutTheTea.com can confirm.
90 Day Fiance: The Other Way returns on October 11 at 8 pm, ET, on TLC.
