Dorit Kemsley, who got married in New York City in a lavish ceremony at the Rainbow Room — posted a photo of her wedding day on September 11 along with the caption, “NYC means so much to me.”
Dorit Kemsley continued, “it’s where I opened my first business, where I met and fell in love with my husband Paul Kemsley, where we had our son Jagger and where we got married; high up in the sky, with the NYC skyline embracing us. I will forever cherish this great city. It will always have my heart #NeverForget.”
Fans slammed the reality star for the post as it seemed to be more about her than remembering the many innocent lives that were lost on that day.
“Of course way to make it all about yourself, one fan commented. Another upset fan said, “#neverforget it’s not about you.” A shocked fan simply commented, “oh my god Dorit.”
This isn’t the first time Dorit Kemsley, 44, has come under fire for being insensitive about 9/11. Last year, she was called out again for posting a dolled up photo of herself in a robe on 9/11.
Do you think Dorit Kemsley’s tribute was all about herself or are fans overreacting? Sound off in the comments!
