Andy Cohen Launches WWHL From Home Amid His Coronavirus Battle!
The entire Bravosphere let out an enormous sigh of relief Monday after learning Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen is back.
After announcing that he tested positive for Coronavirus (Covid-19) on March 20, host Andy Cohen announced that he is finally feeling better via Instagram. He wrote, “Happy to report I’m feeling better and am returning to @radioandysxm this morning, and will try to end your day with a smile when we begin WWHL@Home tonight featuring @neneleakes @lisarinna @mrjerryo! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE ON THE FRONT LINES OF COVID-19!”
The virtual show launched Monday night, at 11:00 p.m. ET, on Bravo — with celebrity guests: NeNe Leakes, Lisa Rinna, and Jerry O’Connell appearing via video chat.
The show was initially set to premiere on March 22nd but before that could happen Andy Cohen fell ill and the in-home production came to a screeching halt with the host stating, “As much as I felt like I could push through whatever I was feeling to do #WWHL from home, we’re putting a pin in that for now so I can focus on getting better.”
Andy Cohen also took the time to thank everyone on the front lines of this crisis for their tireless efforts.
Andy Cohen was showered with well wishes in the comments section from many celebrities and Bravo housewives alike including: Melissa Gorga, Kyle Richards and Porsha Williams. Celebrity and good pal. John Mayer, showed his support to his friend with only three words in all caps, “THERE HE IS.”
“Happy to report I’m feeling better and am returning to @radioandysxm this morning, and will try to end your day with a smile when we begin WWHL@Home tonight featuring @neneleakes @lisarinna @mrjerryo! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE ON THE FRONT LINES OF COVID-19!”
