Real Housewives of New York City veteran, Ramona Singer, has been diagnosed with Lyme Disease. The reality star delivered an update on her health last week, and shared that she felt “very blessed” to have caught the disease in an early stage.

Ramona Singer, 63, told E News that she began to feel ill around Valentines Day, and  met with a specialist, recommended by a friend. After she was diagnosed with Lyme Disease, she was prescribed a round of antibiotics, and will  return to the doctor for retesting in a month.

Ramona Singer explained that she believes the culprit to be an undetected tick bite, from time spent at her Hamptons vacation home.

“You must get tested once a year, especially if you’re in an area where there are deer,” Ramona said. “But we caught it early and I’m very lucky and very blessed.”

The reality diva family is all too familiar with the surprise diagnosis. In 2018, Ramona Singer  revealed that her sister had been fighting Lyme Disease.

“It’s just a really scary disease and it’s not black-and-white,” Ramona said at the time.

Bravo fans know that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, Yolanda Hadid, shared her rollercoaster struggle with Lyme Disease on several seasons of the show.

The Real Housewives of New York City will premiere in April.
