RECAP: Lacey Runs Back To John & Andrea Beats Up Lamar On ‘Life After Lockup’

Welcome back to an all-new episode of Life After Lockup. We’ve got a lot of ground to cover so let’s get started.

Life After Lockup: Michael, Megan and Sarah

The episode opens with Megan writing lyrics for her nonexistent music career to numb the pain that she hasn’t heard from Michael in three weeks. In a last-ditch effort, she calls Michael’s mom, Miss Carolyn asking her about Michael’s whereabouts. It’s obvious to anyone with a pulse that Miss Carolyn loathes Megan but Megan gives her a call anyway. Miss Carolyn tells Megan that she has no idea where Michael is nor the desire to get in the middle of whatever it is that they have going on. CLICK.

Meanwhile back in upstate New York, Sarah is still reeling about how Michael’s visit went down the day prior. In an effort to smooth things over she reaches out to Michael and tries to persuade him to go to counseling with her.

Michael and Maria are laid up at the hotel when he casually mentions that he and Sarah will be attending therapy together. Maria seems none too pleased and tells Michael that she doesn’t trust Sarah. She vows to confront Sarah should anything else go down between them. Someone go ahead and get Jerry Springer on the phone…

Cut to the therapy session, when Michael finally drags his sorry butt into the office thirty minutes late. Note, that he never once apologizes to Sarah or the therapist for his tardiness.

Once the session is in swing, Michael opens up about how his father was never around and that it’s caused deep-rooted issues within him. Someone call a WAHmbulance. Sarah also confesses that she has anxiety about something happening to her since her mother died when she was 12 years old. She worries that in the event something happens to her the girls will have to go with Michael and they don’t even know him.

Sarah reveals that Avianna is in counseling and that she told the therapist that her daddy makes her sad and she wishes he would get used to her and she could get used to him. Poor baby. Michael calls foul on that accusing Sarah of putting those ideas in her head. He also says he’s heard Sarah tell the girls that Michael doesn’t love them. Sarah loses it and the therapist tries to deescalate the situation explaining that both of them losing their tempers is the reason they’re never able to come to an agreement about anything. Michael explains that if things don’t get better between him and Sarah he will have no choice to go through the court system.

Sarah then drops a bomb explaining that she already filed for emergency temporary custody of the children until they can go to court and work something out and the judge granted it to her. According to Sarah, she did this because Michael asked to take the girls for two weeks and because of his lack of communication she can’t allow him to do that.

Michael is fuming with anger and storms out of the session. I think this couple needs way more than a counseling session. Maybe lobotomies will do the trick…

Life After Lockup: Lacey, Shane and John

After finding out about Shane Whitlow cheating, Lacey Whitlow runs as fast as she can right back into John Slater’s arms. As part of his recovery, John is working odd jobs and just so happens to be left to his own devices in some random person’s house while fixing their water heater. Lacey arrives and John is quick to let her know that he’s the only one there at the moment and Lacey giggles like a little school girl. I think we all know where this is heading… eww. Oh and just for the record, Shane is currently at work also and has no idea that any of this is going on. So dysfunctional.

Lacey and John cuddle up on the couch (that is not there’s) and Lacey confesses that Shane cheated on her. She also reveals that this last time John went to jail it really put things into perspective for her and made her realize how much she loves him. John vows that he’s never going back to jail and that he’s going to make everything right again.

Lacey Whitlow confesses in her talking head that she realizes that she made a huge mistake marrying Shane. She tells John that if she could go back in time and change things she would, but then reveals there’s one last thing she needs to fess up to… the tattoo she has of Shane’s name… right above her… vagina.

John Slater seems genuinely disgusted but confesses that he will eventually be able to get over the tattoo and that as far as he can see, he’s still the number one guy in Lacey’s life.

Lacey promises to get rid of Shane for good so they can be together and John vows to “get that sh** taken care of” and I can only hope by that he means the vag tat.

Life After Lockup: Clint and Tracie

Once again Tracie Wagaman has left poor Clint high and dry to the tune of five thousand dollars and minus an entire vehicle AND a dog. Can’t say we told you so… but Clint- WE ALL TOLD YOU SO. Even your poor mother who begged you not to put up the bond money.

Clint confesses the last time he saw his Goddess was the previous morning when they had awesome sex that tired them both out. But once he woke up she was gone. After trying to reach her several times Tracie finally calls Clint back only to tell him that she “hates him right now.” He begs her to come home but she simply refuses and screams at him that she does NOT want to go to rehab. Welp, so much for that.

Life After Lockup: Andrea and Lamar

Things go from bad to worse with Andrea and Lamar once she finds condoms in Lamar’s coat pocket. Andrea is seething with anger while the family tries to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Andrea tells the children that her friend Stephanie will be coming to pick them up so she can talk with Lamar. Lamar exclaims that he’s “scared as hell.” Even the children admit they feel bad for Lamar. IT’S. ABOUT. TO. GO. DOWN!

The children leave and Andrea immediately confronts Lamar stating that she doesn’t believe he wants to be part of the family. Lamar seems genuinely confused and asks what brought her to that conclusion.

She gives Lamar the opportunity to come clean but it’s obvious he has zero idea what she’s causing a stink over this time.

Andrea confronts Lamar with the condoms in his coat pocket and unleashes on him as he pulls them out. She pushes him, kicks him, hits him and throws him on the bed while screaming that he’s F’d up her and her kids lives. SECURITY! SECURITY! Poor Lamar is going to need some backup.

Life After Lockup: Cheryl and Josh

Cheryl and Josh are still trying to pick up the pieces after Cheryl and Tina’s physical altercation. They have plans to go look a house in hopes to rent but in true form, Josh shows up late. Cheryl confronts him about his tardiness and Josh eventually storms off telling Cheryl she should go back to Michigan and says that they’re done.

According to Cheryl, Josh treated her much better when he was locked up but now that he’s out he treats her like garbage. She laments all the money and time she wasted on him while he was in prison. She eventually leaves Josh on the side of the road as she speeds off away in her car. One question though- where is her son in all of this???

Josh calls his crazy mama to pick him up, of course. Once she arrives he tells her he’s “pretty sure that it’s finally over between them”  he feels like a weight has been lifted off of his shoulders. Mama Tina can’t hide her excitement as she exclaims that her son could be with so many other beautiful girls, not some “twig.” Yep, I’m sure all the pretty ladies are waiting in line to get them an ex-convict who lives with a mama that slaps them around…

Life After Lockup: Brittany and Marcelino

Brittany Santiago and her son, Giovanni, surprise Marcelino with a new puppy, and let me tell you, he looks thrilled. NOT. Marcelino is worried because since working on his monthly “poker budget,” he realizes that their new furry friend will eat away at most of it. Marcelino is especially anxious because he’s been on a losing spiral as of lately but ultimately decides to keep that bit of information to himself. Let’s hope Brittany doesn’t have to put the puppy up for adoption too.

Life After Lockup

We’re left on a cliffhanger as Marcelino resolves that desperate times call for desperate measures. He admits to losing a few thousand dollars and money is very low. This new puppy is just the icing on the cake. He arrives at a strange woman’s house and she invites him in asking “does your wife know you’re here?” DUN DUN DUN.
