‘Vanderpump Rules’ Newcomer Brett Caprioni Caught Posting Racist & Sexist Tweets!
Another Vanderpump Rules cast member is getting dragged for past racist comments.
Vanderpump Rules newbie, Brett Caprioni, 31, joined the SUR team in season 8 and already making headlines for racist and sexist comments.
During 2011-2013 several of Brett Caprioni’s tweets and retweets have been generated containing racial epithets. Below is a screen grab of the offensive tweets.
Many of the now-deleted tweets contain the N-word. And in November 2012, he tweeted, “wassup wit black people wearin so much Aeropostale I don’t get it lol.”
More tweets reveal sexist remarks, such as one with the hashtag “#womensuck.”
In a statement to PEOPLE, Brett Caprioni apologized for the tweets, saying that he is “I want to express my deepest apologies for the insensitive, ignorant, and hurtful comments I made. I am incredibly ashamed and accept full responsibility, and acknowledge that this language was as unacceptable then as it is now. Please know that I have learned and grown since then and would never use this language today. From the bottom of my heart, I am truly sorry.”
As reported, another Vanderpump Rules newbie, Max Boyens, is also in hot water over racist comments he made in 2012 — he also fat-shamed and attacked gays. The racist tweets involve Max Boyens using the N-word liberally on various occasions
Brett Caprioni deleted the offensive tweets and his account remains public.
