Assault Charges Against Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Dismissed!

The legal battle between Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard is officially closed!

On Friday, the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office informed lawyers for the Real Housewives of Potomac costars that they would not be pursuing their ongoing cross complaints. The charges have been dismissed according to PEOPLE.

The drama started from a blowout fight between Monique Samuels and co-star, Candiace Dillard, on October 16. The incident led to second-degree assault charges being filed by both parties with the District Court of Montgomery County in Maryland.

Candiace Dillard, 32, initiated the fight by throwing a wine glass in Monique’s face during a heated fight — and Monique responded by grabbing Candiace by the hair and slamming her face on a table. The cast event took place at a winery and was filmed by Bravo cameras.

The State’s Attorney’s Office dropped both complaints after reviewing footage of the fight, and conducting a series of interviews with both Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard — as well as witnesses on the scene.

“The show is just not worth it anymore to her [Monique Samuels]. There’s no lengths these women won’t go to try and push her buttons.” A source explains to AllAboutTheTEA.com. “She has way too much to lose.

“She [Monique Samuels] doesn’t trust those women and right now her focus is on her family.” A rock solid source previously told AllAboutTheTEA.com. 

As reported, Real Housewives of Potomac cast members used the fight to facilitate personal “hate” campaigns. 

“These women used this situation to jump on the hate Monique bandwagon. It’s crazy!” The source shared with AllAboutTheTEA.com. “They need to level up because they’re all crabs in a barrel.”
