AllAboutTheTEA.com exclusively learned that the entrepreneur beauty — who appeared on the Bravo reality series for three seasons — “Wants to quit and be off the show.”
Monique Samuels‘ desire to quit the Real Housewives of Potomac stems from a blowout fight with co-star, Candiace Dillard, on October 16. The incident led to second-degree assault charges being filed by both parties.
Candiace Dillard, 32, initiated the fight by throwing a drink (and the glass) in Monique’s face during a heated fight — and Monique responded by grabbing Candiace by the hair and slamming her face on a table. The cast event took place at a winery and was filmed by Bravo cameras.
The altercation and escalated legal drama has lowered Monique’s moral and she’s lost trust in some of her Real Housewives of Potomac cast members.
“She [Monique Samuels] doesn’t trust those women and right now her focus is on her family.” A rock solid source tells AllAboutTheTEA.com.
“These women used this situation to jump on the hate Monique bandwagon. It’s crazy!” The source shared. “They need to level up because they’re all crabs in a barrel.”
Monique Samuels is a married mom of three, who runs several businesses and wants to protect her family and image.
“The show is just not worth it anymore to her. There’s no lengths these women won’t go to try and push her buttons.” A source explains to AllAboutTheTEA.com. “She has way too much to lose.”
“Producers repeatedly asked her to stay and talked her out of quitting the show,” a source revealed to AllAboutTheTEA.com. “Monique actually lives in Potomac (while many of her RHOP co-stars don’t), she’s happily married and wealthy…and producers like that.”
“Monique declined to attend the cast trip and production approved her request because some of the women do not want to film with Monique.” A rock solid source tells AllAboutTheTEA.com.
