Married to Medicine star Mariah Huq received the Ruby Hurley Humanitarian of the Year Award at the NAACP 32nd Annual Ruby Hurley Image Awards, on October 29.

The event took place in Mariah Huq’s Tennessee home town.

The 41-year-old beauty was recognized for her civic and community leadership in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Mariah Huq was presented with the prestigious award by Reverend Al Sharpton.

The Married to Medicine creator and executive producer posted photos from the event — including some with her husband, Aydin Huq, contestants from the Miss Tennessee pageant, and the Reverend Sharpton. The award was also given to Bishop Kevin Adams.
