Mariah Huq, Dr. Jacqueline Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore,Dr. Heavenly Kimes, Toya Bush-Harris, Quad Webb, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe will all be back to document the ups and downs of their lives — and new friend, Buffie Purselle.
Buffie Purselle is the wife of psychiatrist, Dr. David Purselle, and takes her role as Mrs. MD “very seriously.”
Dr. Jackie and her husband Curtis Berry are back together but his cheating past is not completely buried.
“You look like you’re not telling the whole truth,” Dr. Jackie says in the trailer. “I don’t like that feeling.”
Dr. Simone and husband Cecil Whitmore are also still living under one roof, with Cecil even taking on a new title as Dr. Simone’s assistant. But their relationship troubles are far from over, either.
“Happy life, happy wife,” Dr. Simone says. “Where the hell has that gone?”
Quad Webb has completely moved on from her husband Dr. Gregory Lunceford — she’s even dropped his last name and started dating again.
“I’m okay with being single,” she confesses in the clip. “I take very good care of myself, by myself. If you know what I mean.”
Mariah and Aydin Huq are embracing their children growing up and teaching them life lessons. On the business front, Mariah is working on opening a boutique in her hometown.
Dr. Contessa is going back to school to get her masters and working to open a new clinic with her husband Scott.
There’s also some drama brewing between Quad and Simone in the trailer.
“You gonna bring some s— up, back it up,” Quad tells Simone, who storms off after telling Quad, “I don’t have time.”
Also, Jackie snaps on Contessa during the annual couples trip with Jackie tells Contessa in the trailer, “Don’t touch me right now, Contessa,” Dr. Jackie snaps. “There’s a new [Dr. Jackie] you just met.”
While on the couples trip, Dr. Eugene calls out single Quad for having no purpose within the group of married couples anymore, “This is a couples trip… but you’re not married right now!” He tells her.
