The hits just keep coming for Kyle Richards’ husband, Mauricio Umansky in the legal battle accusing him of fraud over the sale of a $32 Million mansion.

According to new court documents obtained by AllAboutTheTEA.com, Sweetwater Malibu CA, LLC has amended their lawsuit against Mauricio Umansky to now include Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue as a plaintiff in the case, per the judge’s order.

Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue is the Vice President of Equatorial Guinea, in office since 2012. He is a son of Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, the President of Equatorial Guinea, by his first wife, Constancia Mangue Nsue Okomo.

Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue has made headlines over the years for corruption probes tied to his native Guinea.

The amended docs were filed on July 15, 2019, after a judge ordered that the massive lawsuit had strong legal grounds to proceed.

The judge made several notes in the court order that informed Mauricio Umansky that they weren’t buying a lot of the legal arguments he presented in support of dismissing the case.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is being sued by Sweetwater Malibu CA, LLC, the company that owned the home at the center of the lawsuit, according to court documents. Sweetwater Malibu CA, LLC accuses Mauricio and The Agency of having violating duties as a real estate broker.

According to the seller, Mauricio did not inform Sweetwater Malibu CA, LLC of much higher offers that were made prior to the sale of the mansion. Mauricio also hid the fact that he partnered with the buyer to purchase the property.

One year later, Mauricio sold the home for $69.9 million, at a profit of $37 million. He also allegedly never disclosed he had partnered with the buyer to purchase the property.

Sweetwater Malibu CA, LLC, which is run by Teodoro Mangue, accused Mauricio in their lawsuit of breaching his duties as a real estate agent and believed he did self-dealing and earned secret profits. The court documents state:

“Defendants also failed to disclose to Plaintiffs that the agent for Sam Hakim, whose offer was accepted as a backup at their recommendation, had agreed in writing to “kick back” to Defendants one third of his share of the commission as secret profits. Neither the offer nor signed addendum to the offer confirming the kickback were disclosed to Plaintiffs. Umansky wrote in response: “Received. You are a man of your word. I truly hope that you get picked.”

Mauricio denies all allegations of fraud — he claims the home was seized by the U.S. government from Mangue after they discovered his hundreds of millions came from criminal activity.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast attended a “Great Gatsby” themed party during Season 7 at the mansion in the case — as a result, Dorit Kemsley, Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi andLisa Vanderpump will all be called to testify in the case.

At the season 9 reunion, Kyle Richards exploded at the accusation that her husband scammed his client out of a mansion in a shady real estate deal. She called the allegation false.
