Kenya Moore ‘Embarrassed’ & Considering Cancelling Baby Shower After Family & Friends Ignore Her Party!
Kenya Moore is considering calling off her self-planned baby shower — after friends and family of the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star have been reluctant to RSVP and purchase gifts from her expensive baby registry.
“Kenya is devastated none of her real friends are showing up for her and buying gifts off her registry,” the source told Radar Online. “She’s considering canceling the baby shower.” The insider added that she’s “embarrassed, heartbroken and mad.”
“This is a big deal to her and she feels like those close to her have let her down,” the source explained. “She’s beyond furious.”
A source tells the outlet, that the former Miss USA’s husband, Marc Daly, stepped in to “calm” his distraught bride by offering to buy everything on the registry to “make her happy and keep the shower as planned.”
“Kenya thinks that’s sweet, but she wants an authentic shower with everyone she knows coming to bow down and tell her how beautiful she looks,” the source said.
On October 14, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star took to Instagram Stories to reveal that her baby shower “is less than a week away,” and she’s expecting a present, even if they can’t make it.
“#Etiquette101 If you cannot attend a monumental life changing event, it’s nice to send a gift anyway,” she wrote. “Or it’s about class? It’s not about a dollar amount it’s to show you care the same way the person cared to invite you to share a moment in their life.”
She added, “RSVP literally means RESPOND PLEASE in French. So if you get an invitation respond with a yes or no if you will be attending.”

As of October 17, only 13 items out of 73 have been purchased on Kenya Moore’s baby registry.
