Jeff Lewis Wants Surrogate Lawsuit Dismissed!

Jeff Lewis is fighting back against a lawsuit filed by his former surrogate — claiming the Flipping Out star ruined her life by airing footage of the woman giving birth.

According to court documents obtained by AllAboutTheTea.com, Lewis’ legal team asserts the plaintiff, Alexandra Trent, signed an agreement allowing herself to be filmed — thus forfeiting her rights to how her image would be portrayed on screen. He also claims producers did not divulge any private information that was not meant to be made public, and what he said was not highly offensive.

As reported, Trent filed a lawsuit in June against Bravo, Authentic Entertainment, Lewis and Gage Edwards. In the suit, Trent accuses Authentic Entertainment of filming the birth and her vagina without her permission. Additionally, Jeff Lewis and Edward made “disgusting” comments about her unshaven genitalia.

“If I was a surrogate, and I had known there was going to be an audience, I probably would have waxed. And that was the shocking part for Gage. I don’t think Gage had ever seen a vagina, let alone one that big.” Edwards said during a talking head confessional about the mother of his child.

She is seeking damages for unlawful recording, invasion of privacy and fraud.

In 2016, Trent gave birth to Lewis and Edwards’ 20-month-old daughter, Monroe Christine.

Jeff Lewis and his co-defendants are requesting Trent’s lawsuit be dismissed, and for the plaintiff to cover their legal fees.
