Bethenny Frankel Says Carole Radziwill Did Not Quit #RHONYC She Was Fired!
Bethenny Frankel implies Carole Radziwill was fired!
As fans know, Carole announced her resignation on July 25, after five seasons as a Housewife, amid a heated feud with her former friend, Bethenny.
The Real Housewives of New York City star’s once solid friendship fell apart in season ten, and as the collapse currently plays out for the Bravo audience, Carole shared personal insight, via her Bravo blog.
“In real life, you may never discover that a friend is being nice to your face only to make rude and hurtful comments behind your back. But lucky (or unlucky) for me, I get to hear it all — Bethenny’s drumbeat of insults, her spate of digs, and her self-serving narrative.”
But according to Bethenny, Carole’s departure was not her choice to exit RHONYC.
On Wednesday, the Skinnygirl mogul set the record straight in a tweet. Frankel wrote, “One [cast member] saying they chose to depart and attributing it to me is fiction. It’s healthier to be truthful about a hard situation.”
In a farewell statement to People, Carole Radziwill stated that she was leaving the Housewives after this current season, to return to her original passions.
“After six seasons on Bravo’s RHONY, I have decided to return to what I do best — journalism and producing,” she told People. “My original curiosity about reality television has waned over the years and I am focusing on TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament.” She also joked that she is “thrilled to leave frenemies behind.”
The Real Housewives of New York City airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
