Danielle Staub’s marriage of two months is over!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s husband, Marty Caffrey, is planning to divorce after their recent wedding, Caffrey told Radar.
“Marty Caffrey is divorcing Danielle Staub.”
The first signs of trouble occured on Friday, when Caffrey made an Instagram post throwing his wife under the bus. “Sorry things didn’t work out baby. You aren’t what you pretend to be. Sad,” Caffrey posted.
The news couldn’t have come at a worse time for Daniel, who celebrates her 56th birthday today (July 29).
“Danielle does not want her marriage to Marty to end,” a source close to the Bravo beauty told Radar. “She does not want a divorce. She is very upset about Marty [talking about that] and is going to do everything she can to make her marriage work.”
The source added “Danielle is very upset about everything that happened and doesn’t understand what Marty is doing. She is not giving up.” But according to the insider, Caffrey has also been MIA.
“Marty has left the house and she hasn’t seen him. She is spending her birthday weekend with her friends and her kids.”
According to a source, trouble has been brewing in the relationship for some time throughout their four year union.
“This isn’t something that just happened in one day. They’ve been together for four years total — so it has been brewing.” The marriage implosion. could affect RHONJ. Staub, who returned to the show for season 8 seven years after leaving it, will also appear on the upcoming season 9. Bravo hoped that Staub’s new married life would be a major plot point.
“Producers are concerned and worried because of Danielle. This doesn’t go with her storyline at all about her happy marriage.”
The couple married on May 5, 2018, in the Bahamian Island of Bimini, as Bravo cameras captured the ceremony, attended by Danielle’s fellow RHONJ co-stars.
