David Beador would like to cut familial ties with his ex Shannon.
“It’s been requested from my ex that I’m not worthy of the name Beador,” she recently said on The Daily Dish podcast. “For the sake of my kids, I think I’m going to stay Shannon Beador.”
After 17 years of marriage, David is trying to erase all reminders of his soon-to-be ex wife from his life.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star’s maiden name “Storms,” could be interpreted as “stripper porn,” in combination with Shannon.
“Now I call myself Shannon Storms Beador so it’s kind of like the best of both worlds,” she said.
This new revelation is just another low blow in the couple’s divorce saga. David’s abusive behavior towards Shannon has been well documented and includes body-shaming texts he allegedly sent Shannon. He was accused of telling her, “You f—ing disgust me. F— you. What do you have to do? Eat? Because you can’t get off your fat ass.”
In November 2017, Shannon filed for divorce from David Beador following a turbulent marriage, marred by a domestic abuse scandal and cheating.
“If I were ever to consider getting married again, I’m going to want to get to know the person,” Shannon said on the podcast. “I’m not getting divorced again. Once is enough.”
Shannon has also moved on and rebounded with a new beau, who accompanied her on a business trio to New York City in early July.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Mondays, at 9:00 p.m. ET, on Bravo.
