Fans of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After learned of Jorge Nava’s arrest on the show’s regular season finale — but what does the future hold for the reality star? In early February, Jorge was charged with possession and transportation of marijuana for sale, after police discovered 293 pounds of weed in his vehicle, during a traffic violation stop in Arizona. He posted  $25k bail, after spending two nights in jail.

Starcasm is reporting that Jorge has agreed to a plea deal — pleading guilty to a Class 4 felony of Attempted Transportation of Marijuana for Sale, on July 17th. It appears that Jorge might dodge jail time, and could be sentenced to only a couple of years of probation. It’s unclear how he finagled such a deal, considering the amount of marijuana involved points to a Class 2 felony charge, which could have landed Jorge behind bars for up to 12 years. It’s also not clear if his wife, Anfisa Arkhipchenko, was present when Jorge entered his plea in the Mohave County Superior Court. He will be sentenced on September 7th.

TLC has chronicled Jorge and Anfisa’s rollercoaster relationship since Anfisa landed in the U.S. — the Russian beauty leaving her homeland for a life of hyped American luxury. Jorge has struggled to deliver, and trust issues and broken promises seemingly continue to plague the marriage. The latest drama involves an ex alleging that Jorge fathered her 10 year old daughter.

Anfisa appears to be supporting her husband during his legal issues, and recently confirmed such when responding to a fan asking about the couple’s plans to start a family.

“We are husband and wife. That is a family,” Anfisa said.

Watch Jorge and Anfisa on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After, Sundays at 8:00 pm, ET, on TLC.
