The drama between 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After couple Chantel and Pedro Jimeno — and Chantel’s family have reached a state of extreme pandemonium!
As fans of the TLC reality series know, Chantel’s family suspects Pedro Jimeno and his Dominican family are using their daughter for a green card and her American cash. Chantel’s brother, River Everett, has been the most vocal about the brewing tension and when Pedro and his sister joined the Everett’s for dinner on a recent episode, things turned violent.
After the episode aired, River took to Instagram Story to share his personal insight regarding the violent brawl.
“Pedro was doing this [points finger] and he told my parents to shut up. I said, ‘You can’t disrespect my parents like that,'” River said during an Instagram Live. “He stood up, I stood up. People said it looked like I threw something — from where I stood up, I couldn’t even see Pedro. All I did was hit the lamp, cause I was getting frustrated and when I’m frustrated, I don’t wanna take it out on nobody else.”
“I’m actually mad,” River continued. “I don’t regret it, but I’m mad at myself because nobody should get me out of my character.”
The relationship between Chantel’s family and Pedro Jimeno grew contentious after they learned he entered the US on a K-1 visa to marry Chantel, instead of a student visa, as the couple previously told her parents. This fact, coupled with ongoing clashes between Pedro’s sister, Nicole Jimeno Morel, and Chantel exploded into a violent brawl.
