More financial woes for Margaret Josephs!

The woman who claimed to be a successful business was hit with a lawsuit from Sunshine, Atkins, Minassian, Tafuri, D’Amoto & Beane, P.A. law firm on March 28 over an unpaid bill of $3,568.73.

According to Bergen County, New Jersey, court documents, the law firm was hired by the Real Housewives of New Jersey star on February 26, 2015. The law firm claims that they represented the reality star as specified, but was never compensated for their services. They claim to have sent her a notice in December 2017, but “the certified mail was returned ‘unclaimed’ and the regular mail was received.”

Josephs’ rep told Page Six, “This is not only grossly misleading and shameful but an extortionist maneuver outside their standing agreement that aims to leverage Ms. Josephs’ celebrity in order shame her and reap a benefit as a result.”

In October, The Real Housewives of New Jersey rookie was hit with a federal tax lien for $197,066.98 — according to documents.

“We are giving you notice the taxes (including interest and penalties) have been assessed against the following-named taxpayer,” the lien against Josephs stated.

Josephs owed $189,342.89 for the tax period ending December 31, 2012, and $7,724.09 for the tax period ending December 31, 2014.

In addition to Margaret’s tax predicament, the 50 year-old’s New Jersey mansion is currently in foreclosure. She and her husband, Joseph Benigno, were sent a foreclosure notice from Unity Bank on Dec. 15, 2017.

Margaret and her husband bought the 7-bedroom 8-bathroom home in 2016, taking out two mortgages to finance the luxury abode.

As reported, the Powerhouse in Pigtails is in financial ruins after Margaret’s Macbeth Collection business was legally nailed as a designer fraud. The reality star’s online boutique has been recently revamped and all clothing erased, in light of clothing company, Vineyard Vines, tightening their legal noose.
