As reported, Jenelle Evans‘ husband David Eason, lashed out on social media after coming under fire for promoting assault rifles in wake of the recent Florida school massacre that left 17 dead. And despite MTV firing David, his wife Jenelle is now doing the same.

The Teen Mom 2 star, posted a meme that read, “Emma Gonzalez puffing vape smoke into a classmate’s face after calling him a racial slur.” Gonzalez is a survivor of the school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and is an outspoken advocate for gun control.

Since posting the insensitive meme, Jenelle received an array of angry responses, which were met with a callous response from Jenelle, “It’s a joke.”

David added fuel to the fire by also posting meme attacking the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student. “This girl needs [to be] locked up for her roll [sic] in the shootings. She openly admitted to bullying Nikolas Cruz for 3 years for being weird. Now she is the spokesman for gun control.”

Jenelle’s MTV co-star, Maci Bookout, posted an article blasting Jenelle for the mocking memes and Jenelle reacted by blasting her co-star, “I’m sorry Maci, I’m blocking you. This is ridiculous!”

She went on to rant about her husband being fired for sharing his opinion. “You’re not allowed a sense of humor for some reason. David shared his opinions and was fired. Ryan threatened the lives of cast members and isn’t facing punishment. I would want answers about that!”
