#SisterWives Kody Brown Explodes After Supreme Court Rejects Decriminalizing Polygamy! (Video)
On tonight’s episode of Sister Wives — Kody Brown and his wives, Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn hear that the U.S. Supreme Court rejected hearing their argument for the decriminalization of polygamy.
Kody Brown petitioned the court to hear his exhausted plea — but the highest court in the land ultimately decided not to review the lengthy case. Kody is infuriated — and says that he’s “aching for his liberty” in a preview clip of tonight’s episode.
Kody cries foul at the court’s decision — soundly rejecting the notion that sexual abuse and welfare fraud are reasons to keep polygamists “under the dark blanket of secrecy.” Christine labels the Supreme Court’s decision as “overt bigotry.”
Kody is “angry now” and is ready to let the Utah legislature have it — even blaming lawmakers for “creating those people” who are behind the horrors linked to the lifestyle. Kody and the gang are headed to the Utah capitol to have their righteously angry voices heard — and dramatically hype the possibility of being arrested, and thrown in the clink.
