In October, The Real Housewives of New Jersey rookie was hit with a federal tax lien for $197,066.98 — according to documents obtained by Radar.

“We are giving you notice the taxes (including interest and penalties) have been assessed against the following-named taxpayer,” the lien against Josephs stated.

According to Bergen County Clerk of Court, Josephs owed $189,342.89 for the tax period ending December 31, 2012, and $7,724.09 for the tax period ending December 31, 2014.

In addition to Margaret’s tax predicament, the 50 year-old’s New Jersey mansion is currently in foreclosure. She and her husband, Joseph Benigno, were sent a foreclosure notice from Unity Bank on Dec. 15, 2017.

Margaret and her husband bought the 7-bedroom 8-bathroom home in 2016, taking out two mortgages to finance the luxury abode.

As reported, the Powerhouse in Pigtails is in financial ruins after Margaret’s Macbeth Collection business was legally nailed as a designer fraud. The reality star’s online boutique has been recently revamped and all clothing erased, in light of clothing company, Vineyard Vines, tightening their legal noose.
