More financial woes for Margaret Josephs — her $1.125 million mansion is in foreclosure!

According to court records obtained by AllAboutTheTea.com, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star and her husband, Joseph Benigno, were sent a foreclosure notice from Unity Bank on Dec. 15, 2017.

The couple took out two mortgages with Unity Bank for two different properties between September and December 2016. The bank wants to “recover possession of both of the said premises” from them.  The action was recorded into the Bergen County court system on January 11, 2018. Court records reveal:

“NOTICE IS HEREBY given of the commencement and pendency of a suit in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Bergen County, entitled as above, the general object of which is to foreclose on certain Mortgages covering two separate premises described on attached Schedules A and B, which Mortgages were made by Defendants, Joseph Benigno and Margaret M. Katona-Josephs to Unity Bank.”

The 50 year-old hosted a quasi lavish birthday party at her Bergen County, New Jersey home during the Season 8 finale of the Bravo reality series, despite her ballroom being constructionally challenged with holes in the floors and walls. This would explain why her contractor husband never took the steps to repair their ramshackle residence.

As reported, the Powerhouse in Pigtails is in financial ruins after Margaret’s Macbeth Collection business was legally nailed as a designer fraud. The reality star’s online boutique has been recently revamped and all clothing erased, in light of clothing company, Vineyard Vines, tightening their legal noose.
