#RHOA RECAP: Kim Zolciak Accuses Nene Leakes of Drug Use!

Welcome to the elephant room! Such a messy episode…where do I start. Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta kicked off with Porsha rehearsing for an upcoming role with a member of her staff. Porsha will be starring in a play called, “Two Can Play That Game,” and she’s excited because scripted work is her passion — she’s going to get an acting coach and be a big actress. Good luck!

The next day, Kim and Sheree meet for lunch. First, they rehash the drama in San Francisco between NeNe and Porsha. This leads into Porsha and Kandi’s drama, then Kim drops a bomb about KandiKim says that Kandi isn’t all there if she’s inviting other women into her bedroom and Kandi offered to “lick” her “box — but Kim declined. The convo then focuses on Sheree’s incarcerated lover, Tyrone, and Kim encourages her not to get discouraged, despite whispers behind her back. NeNe calls to cancel, she was scheduled to join them, “I think there’s a lot of damn elephants in the damn room. Don’t you?” NeNe asked over the phone as she explained why she was absent from their lunch. They both decided that something was “off” with NeNe in recent weeks and toasted to their friendship.

Cynthia has organized a school supply drive for underprivileged youth at her Bailey Agency. Cynthia’s new boyfriend, Will, makes a brief appearance before he jets off to Brazil. Kenya adds her two-cents that prostitution is legal in Brazil. She then scolds Cynthia for acting like a schoolgirl with a crush. Kenya is the last one to speak since she’s been doing the same. Pot meet kettle!

Over at Sheree’s, her son Kairo pops up with groceries to cook for his mom. While he prepares dinner, Sheree gets a call from her prison boyfriend. Tyrone tells Sheree that his lawyer is filing an appeal on his fraud conviction and Sheree says she believes Tyrone is innocent based on documents that she’s read. She’s got all the receipts and not even the government can make her give up on Tyrone. She’s eager for his name to be cleared so she can throw it in NeNe’s face.

NeNe has organized an energy reader, Mbele, to help the girls sort out “elephants” in their lives. This woman doesn’t want to know all the details of the drama before the reading so NeNe just tells her, “There’s sisterhood and non-sisterhood.” As the women arrive, they’re instructed to hand over their cellphones — you know the frequency waves might affect the energy in the room.

NeNe sits them all down and says they’ve come to clear the air and all the lights start flickering. Mbele reads Cynthia first and exposes her new boyfriend Will, as an opportunist. “Your friends are right this time,” she says. Kim quickly tells Cynthia not to get “messed up” by what the reader was saying, and the reader snaps on Dixie cup aka Kim, “When you came in, you went into how marvelously spiritual you are and you’ve been sh*ting since you’ve been here.” Kim blasted back by insisting that she was from a “higher power.”

Up next is Kenya, the energy reader tells her she won’t be around much longer — implying she won’t be a Housewife much longer.

While Mbele was talking, Kim mumbles under her breath “bullsh*t.” At that point, Kenya goes off on Kim: “I am really tired of this back and forth, so either we’re going to sit and we’re going to listen or you can leave, because I am tired of this stupid sh*t going on. Who the hell are you?”

Sheree then asks NeNe if she had an issue with Tyrone. “Let’s be clear. You’ve got mugshots too,” Sheree says to NeNe. “I’ve got a mugshot and he’s in prison,” NeNe claps back. “Why would you say that? That’s crazy, Sheree!” she shouted. They go back and forth and nothing gets resolved.

Kenya and Kim go a few rounds. Kenya says, “This bitch is the rudest person I have ever seen in my life,” in a talking head confessional about Kim. Kim makes it clear, she has no interest in talking things out with Kenya. Cynthia thought Kim was “out of control” and Kim told Cynthia to stop talking and “just be a pretty face.”

Everyone walks out into the rain with every elephant they came with.
