The murky relationship between Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Siggy Flicker, and the production company churning out footage for the Bravo hit is becoming increasingly clear.

According to a well placed source, RHONJ production became “upset” with Siggy, after cameras were shut out of her 50th birthday party. We have learned that Siggy’s husband, Michael Campanella, just said “no” to Bravo drama polluting the family event.

“Production wanted to film, but Michael didn’t want to risk cast drama ruining the special family celebration,” a source tells AllAboutTheTea.com. “Producers were pissed off, but the decision was firm.”

The insider revealed that the party also honored Michael’s cousin, Nicole O’Brien, who had passed away after a battle with cancer. Michele Ean Campanella recently shared her thoughts about her deceased twin sister, and Siggy’s family support.

“For all who watch New Jersey Housewives, this is a cake my cousin, Siggy Flicker, made for my twin sister Nicole Campanella O’Brien (pictured below). Yes we ate the cake and did not throw it at each other. I am so disappointed in Bravo on how they cut and edited this season Siggy has such a big heart.”

Michele continues: “Siggy had the best surgeons on board in the hope she could save her life. Nicole passed away in April. For Siggy’s 50th birthday she did not have the show taped and dedicated her birthday to her cousin. No gifts, she said give your money to charity in Nicole’s name.”

Fans know that Bravo gatherings always invite drama — so it’s no surprise that Siggy and her family guarded the event from potential disaster. Production didn’t see it that way — the disagreement adding to an already tense relationship between Siggy and those calling the storyline shots.

The tea continues to spill — pointing to a messy filming season ending in a lopsided and controversial Season 8 spin.
