Dolores Catania’s grandmother passed away on Wednesday (Dec 27).
The beloved 104 year-old grandmother of The Real Housewives of New Jersey star suffered a heart attack on Tuesday, and passed away the following day.
Elizabeth Spagnola made guest appearances on RHONJ, and captivated fans with her beautiful and vibrant spirit.
“She lived through every war except the civil war,” Catania told Radar Online about her beloved grandmother. “She walked through the Holland Tunnel the day it opened.”

Despite her age, Ms. Spagnola remained very agile throughout her entire life.
“She remembered my phone number by heart.”
Spagnola spoke about her appearance on the Bravo reality series at her 104th birthday party in November.
“It was something different,” Spagnola told www.NorthJersey.com. “You knew the whole world was going to hear what you were saying.”
Dolores adored and respected her paternal grandmother, in an emotional post on Instagram the reality star wrote a touching tribute when Spagnola turned 103, last year.
