Luann de Lesseps is sorry for her assault on a cop, resisting arrest and intoxication arrest on Sunday, December 24.

The reality star was in Palm Beach, Florida, drinking heavily, and emotional over her failed seven-month-long marriage to Tom D’Agostino.

“I want to offer my sincere apologies to anyone I might have offended with my behavior,” the Real Housewives of New York star, 52, tweeted. “This was my first time in Palm Beach since my wedding and being there brought up long-buried emotions. I am committed to a transformative and hopeful 2018.”

Luann and Tom tied the knot on New Year’s Eve 2017 in Palm Beach, Florida. Seven months later, the marriage fell apart. The pair filed jointly for divorce in Sag Harbor, Long Island, in August after a tumultuous romance.

As previously reported, the former countess was taken into custody early Sunday morning, after kicking and threatening a police officer’s life.

“I’m going to kill you all,” the state’s attorney said De Lesseps told people prior to her arrest.

The reality diva has no prior offenses and was released on her own recognizances. She returned to New York but is scheduled back in court on January 25.
