Anyone can be bought!
Kenya Moore tied the knot in a secret ceremony to restauranteur, Marc Daly, in June but much to the surprise of her employer.
Since the Real Housewives of Atlanta star’s secret nuptials, she has made it clear that her husband would not appear on the Bravo reality series — supposedly her man objects to the portrayal of African-American men on the reality series and declines to be degraded.
However everyone has a price — and when Moore’s husband was approached by RHOA producers to film one scene with his wife — he agreed for an outrageous fee of $25,000!
“He [Marc Daly] asked for $25,000 to do one scene with Kenya. Just one! And he wanted to approve the cut.” a source tells Radar, adding. “We typically don’t pay husbands.”
When RHOA production started filming season 10, news of Kenya’s secret wedding saturated headlines and producers scrambled to portray the reality diva as a married woman without a husband present.
“This is Bravo’s number one show and they don’t have access to the story. He would not appear at all. He tried to get his attorney involved in all of the negotiations.”
“They had to speak to him through her! They didn’t even know his name until someone put in on the internet,” the source continued.
Kenya’s husband’s absurd cash demand was rejected by producers, partly because the reality diva has not proven her marriage is legal.
“We don’t negotiate like that with actual housewives. Why would we do that?” the show insider spilled, “We haven’t even seen a marriage license!”
Considering the unscripted docu-series centers around real-life situations of “Housewives” — Kenya’s dubious actions aggravated producers and may end her RHOA reality gig.
As reported, the 46-year-old’s reluctance to build a post-married storyline has costed her $125,000 in RHOA penalties.
