#RHONJ Margaret Josephs Caught In A Lie Over Drama With Siggy Flicker and PETA!

Siggy Flicker has been in the center of craftily edited drama on this season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey — but it looks like Margaret Josephs is willing to do anything to steal the spotlight.

On Friday, the rookie gabbed with Jeff Lewis on his Sirius XM radio show, and dished to the Flipping Out star that cops had been camped outside her $5.28 million mansion.

Margaret revealed that she had reported death threats, supposedly triggered by one of Siggy’s social media jabs.

Earlier in the season, Bravo cameras captured a giant stuffed bear on display in Margaret’s home — which riled her co-star, as well as lots of animal loving onlookers. PETA cosigned Siggy’s sentiment, which only amped the controversy.

Sergeant Carnahan with the Englewood PD in New Jersey spoke to Radar Online about the story, and confirmed that Margaret did report the threats on October 22nd.

“We do provide extra attention when somebody gives us that type of report,” Sgt. Carnahan told Radar.

However, the official also explained the actual follow-up process, exposing Margaret’s account as an exaggerated one.

“They’ll pass by just check on the house check outside make sure no one is sitting out there. There was nothing there.”

The official clarified that Margaret’s communication was “casual” in nature.

“It was something between her and some other cast member. There were no specific complaints made, just a general report. She called in casually and it was stemming from social media.”

Sgt. Carnahan explained that they did keep an eye on the reality star’s home, but are not paid to sit outside the property.

“We do provide extra attention and that was one of the places. We didn’t sit there. If it is quiet and the officer has time maybe he will sit there but we aren’t being paid to sit outside her house,” Carnahan clarified.

What do you think of Margaret’s move to involve the police in the bitter reality feud?
