#RHOA RECAP: The Ladies Throw Kenya Moore A Shady Surprise Wedding With a Fake Groom!

Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta kicks off with NeNe dragging Porsha in their heated fight, “You couldn’t even be here if it weren’t for a bitch like me!” NeNe shouts at Porsha — as she storms off the dinner table and makes her way to elevator — while accompanied by Kandi, Kenya, Cynthia and Marlo. NeNe continues blasting the Dish Nation host, “You sit on your show and you lie every day, but we good. The door is CLA-OUSED! The door is CLA-OUSED!” NeNe yells from the elevator. 

Sheree takes pity on outcast Porsha and stays behind to comfort her. “Who the f*ck is perfect at this table?” Porsha cries on Sheree’s shoulder. Sheree feels bad because she ignited the drama with her shady toast. 

NeNe’s posse retreats to her hotel room and she explains she was not trying to get Porsha fired when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live. Kenya and Kandi both add that Porsha never takes accountability for her actions. Kandi admits that she will never ever like Porsha again. NeNe says she was fine with being around Porsha but she wasn’t going to let her play the victim. Back at the dinner table with Porsha and Sheree — Porsha wants NeNe to own her part in their falling out. And Porsha’s done talking about her role in the scandalous rape lie that almost ruined Kandi’s career. 

The morning after the storm, they all gather for a trolley ride around the city and they’ve decided to split up to avoid fights. NeNe, Kandi, Kenya and Cynthia go to Fisherman’s Wharf and the other half venture off to Chinatown aka “Tokyo” according to Porsha.

While looking at fortune cookies, Sheree, Porsha, and Marlo get the bright idea to throw Kenya a fake wedding, equipped with a fake groom — since they weren’t invited to the real one.

Meanwhile, NeNe and her crew are hanging out at Fisherman’s Wharf while gossiping about Sheree’s new prison lover. NeNe spills the tea that Sheree’s new beau is a con artist, who stole over four million dollars from his company. Kandi is concerned for Sheree — and hopes he doesn’t con her friend out of Chateau Sheree.

Back at the hotel, the ladies are setting up a conference room for Kenya’s fake nuptials. Porsha has pulled a few men off the street wearing crop tops to witness the shenanigans of Kenya marrying a cardboard cutout. 

NeNe officiates the wedding and Kandi sings “Here Comes the Bride.” The spectacle is typical Housewives tomfoolery and surprisingly, Kenya appreciates the mock ceremony and is not offended. After the ceremony, Porsha pulls Kandi aside and apologizes for the “role she played” in spreading the Phaedra rape/drug lie. Kandi is not impressed but is cordial because she’s not about to pull a NeNe 2.0 and ruin Kenya’s special day. 

The next day, the ladies head off to Napa Valley on the wine train and they’ve brought Cardboard Marc along for the ride. The train ride is a bit awkward with Porsha talking Kandi’s ear off in an attempt to reconcile before Xscape tour tickets go on sale and Kenya gushing over how much her husband loves her toned body. At the vineyard, the ladies all laugh and actually have a drama-free time. Shocking! By the end of the evening, Kenya has to depart early to attend her grandmother’s funeral and the rest stay in Napa for dinner.

The women have Kenya’s cardboard cutout husband, Marc, also attend the dinner. The shade of it all! Kandi reveals that Todd wanted to stop by Moore’s husband’s restaurant during a NYC business trip for her Essence Magazine cover shoot. Kandi mentions that Kenya has been extra “secretive” about her romance and Marlo insinuates that Kenya’s marriage is fraudulent. This infuriates Kenya’s chief of staff bff Cynthia — who defends her pal’s decision to keep her marriage private. Cynthia explains that Moore gets “scrutinized” the most when it comes to her love life. 

Then Marlo stirs the pot by pressing Cynthia about not meeting Kenya’s husband. “Let’s play a game. How many believe Kenya’s really married…raise your hand?” Marlo polls the table. Kandi is the only one who raises her hand and Cynthia storms off the table. But NeNe manages to wheedle Cynthia back to the table. And after calming down, Cynthia admits that she’s hurt that Kenya didn’t invite her to her wedding and hasn’t introduced her to her husband. 

Then Marlo stirs the pot by pressing Cynthia about not meeting Kenya’s husbandThe Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays, at 8:00 p.m. ET. on Bravo.
