#RHOC Shannon Beador Says David Stopped Loving Her When She Got Fat!
Shannon Beador packed on the pounds in Season 12 of The Real Housewives of Orange County and loss a husband in the process!
Shannon and David Beador officially called it quits after 17 years of marriage and the RHOC star is revealing that her husband left her because she became fat.
At the beginning of Season 12, Shannon blamed cast nemesis, Vicki Gunvalson, for her hefty plight, but is now revealing that stress from her strained marriage was the real reason.
During part one of the RHOC reunion, Shannon revealed that David was the one that filed for divorce and moved out. Adding that David recoiled at the sight of her excess blubber and refused her sex.
“I said to David, when he told me it was over, ‘What happened? We had a couple of amazing years,’” she recalled of the conversation. “And he goes, ‘We had a couple good months.’ It was just a knife in the heart.”
Shannon is currently trying to lose all the weight she gained through diet and exercise.
The mom of three knew her marriage had hit rock bottom when David moved into a separate bedroom over the summer. She also commented that their turbulent marriage was starting to affect their three children, Sophie, Stella, and Adeline.
“I’m a role model for my kids and it got to the point where I wasn’t teaching my daughters positive lessons,” she told US Weekly. “They deserve a happy and joyful home and that’s where we are now . . . it’s my job now to show the girls — I’m scared, I’m 53 years old, it’s the first time I’ve been out on my own, but I can do it.”
The former couple’s stormy relationship has been chronicled on RHOC since Shannon joined the cast in 2014.
