Our 90 Day Fiance couples hit some bumps this week — will true love conquer all?

Nicole and Azan

The episode begins in Morocco, where we see Nicole, Azan and May heading to Agadir to meet Azan’s family. They hit up a famous Casablanca mosque on the way, and Azan hopes that May will learn to appreciate his Muslim culture. Nicole believes that her fantasy family can find a cultural balance, but Azan knows that their future children will need to pick a lane. The trio visits a market, and have a lovely time playing a happy couple doing errands. The toddler leash is controversial, but Azan feels fatherly, so all is well. Nicole loves the warm and fuzzy moments, except she resents May stealing Azan’s snuggles. Nicole hopes that his aunt will get hip and let her sleep with her nephew, but Azan knows that her dream is a delusional one. Azan’s family greets Nicole and May warmly, and they all chitchat happily.

Azan casually inquires about sharing a room with his overheated fiance, and his aunt says no way. Azan is sheepish, and clearly embarrassed. He and Nicole later discuss their future living arrangement, and Azan is worried about being stuck in an American house. They rehash Nicole’s cheating past, and learn that she made another shady dash for freedom after the last trip. Azan doesn’t trust her, so Nicole orders him to change his mind. Nicole went out with a “guy friend” after her return from Morocco, and Azan finds out this nugget during an interview spot. Azan calls the move a deal-breaker, and Nicole reacts by storming off the TLC set. Nicole begs him to reconsider, so Azan eventually agrees to trust Nicole 40%. Azan informs her that his forgiveness tank is running low, but Nicole swears that she has spilled all of her dodgy dirt.

Elizabeth and Andrei

Elizabeth is jetting to Ireland, and is fuming over the dragging love-visa process. She arrives, and we finally get a looksie at Andrei in the flesh. Andrei is from Moldova, and moved to Ireland to escape poverty. He’s a bouncer in a bar, and faces drunken danger every night. Andrei thinks that Elizabeth is beautiful and perfect, but doesn’t know that she’s worried that he might flunk his upcoming visa interview. Elizabeth pries into his visa dissing and bar fighting history, and Andrei admits that America was just too fun to leave. Elizabeth knows that his choice could be a costly one, but Andrei isn’t worried. Family drama is discussed, and Elizabeth isn’t keen on moving overseas. Elizabeth pushes him to rehearse his ass-kissing, but Andrei isn’t into it. They role play the interview, and Elizabeth scolds his mistakes. Andrei thinks Elizabeth is being dramatic, but tries to absorb her advice. Andrei draws the line at ass kissing — but Elizabeth wishes that he would just can it, and pucker up. The couple treks to the U.S. embassy, where Andrei’s fate hangs in the balance.

Molly and Luis

We check in with Luis, who is babysitting for his American money-maker. Luis teaches Kensley some Spanish words, and calls himself her father. She points out she already has a father, and informs him that she’ll pass on the offer. Kensley sharply shuts him down, and lets him know that he’s kind of the worst, and has much work to do to win her heart.

A barbecue is next on the schedule, and Luis is nervous about meeting his biggest critic. Molly’s dad isn’t a fan of his baby girl’s boy-toy, but Molly hopes that their true love will win him over. The men meet, and Luis acts like a nervous bunny. Molly’s father labels his daughter desperate for love, and holds back giving his thumbs up. He’s concerned that Luis is a green card grubber, and Olivia’s raised eyebrows agree. Molly reminds us that they’re getting married, no matter what anyone says. Luis later chats with his own family, and notes that while he misses his clan, he loves his country bride. Luis misses the city and the beach, and thinks America is a bit of a snooze.

David and Annie

David is coughing up more cash — but this time while gussied up in ethnic garb. The couple prances in an engagement processional, and David basks in the village attention, bowing and jerking obediently.

Chris and Nikki join in, impressed that their bankrupt friend can invite such an adoring spectacle. The village embrace is impressive, and David thanks everyone by doling out the expected fee. Annie loves pretending to be rich — as do her parents. David presents his bowl-o-cash to Annie’s elders, who hand over the keys to their daughter.

We later see the couple in Bangkok, enjoying the good life before they face American poverty. David informs us that he’s homeless and broke, before Chris and Nikki arrive. David’s friends plan to house the couple when they get to the U.S. Nikki is peeved about the arrangement, but Chris tops her annoyance when he requests lots of Thai cooking and massages by the pool. Annie passes, while David assures her that his buddy has a simple case of massage envy.

Evelyn and David

David has been in America for 24 hours, and the family is prepping for a welcome party. Evelyn’s aunt scores a hug, which clinches her thumbs up review. David meets friends and family, before dropping that he wants to whisk Evelyn to Virginia for a warmer climate. The family doesn’t appreciate David breaking up the family act, but knows that it might eventually happen. Mikayla arrives and shares her concerns with the couple, like a true friend. Mikayla doesn’t like the speedy and destitute nature of the romance, so David responds by taking a swipe at her single status.

David shows his mean side, but a teary Mikayla does her best to support her immature friend. David watches Mikayla shed tears — but does not seem to care. The couple later works on wedding invites, and squabbles over event  accommodations for David’s side. They bicker over clashing hospitality standards before David hotfoots it back to Pastor Tim’s house.

Josh and Aika

We jump to Mesa, AZ and catch up with Josh, who is on his way to pick up his Filipino bride. Aika makes her entrance, and the couple is overjoyed. Aika hopes to score a Porsche, and knows that she’ll be attracting American men like flies. Aika meets the roomies, and although they greet the new girl warmly, she isn’t really into dorm life. Top Aika critic, Joe, showers her with Americana dollar store goods, before shading her as a love scammer. Joe doesn’t want to drag Josh’s dumped ass out of the gutter again, so he lets Aika know that he has his eye on her.

Next week, Aika strikes a pose, and David hits the bottle.
