Shannon Beador is facing many challenges as she navigates life raising kids solo.

The pressures of being a single parent is setting in ever since separating from her husband of 17 years, David.

On Thursday, the Real Housewives of Orange star’s daughter, Stella, suffered a wrist injury during a high school basketball game.

The mom of three took to Instagram to share details, “Stella hurt her wrist tonight at her basketball game, but not before making the winning 3 point shot. She was not happy that came in the X-ray room at the urgent care, but wanted to make sure they used a low radiation! Grateful she didn’t break anything!!! Just a bad bruise,” She captioned a photo on Instagram.

On October 27, Shannon announced that she and David were calling it quits. She released a statement describing how she felt alone in her marriage but stayed to keep the family intact.

“It’s heartbreaking for me and my daughters that this is the road that had to be taken but it’s the only way. I felt alone in my marriage. You can do what you can to keep your family together, but you have to have willing parties. You need two people to make a marriage work, and that just wasn’t happening in our relationship.”

Shannon and David’s rollercoaster marriage was well documented over the past four seasons on the Bravo reality series. Especially a bombshell in season 10 when it was exposed that David cheated on his soon-to-be ex-wife.

The breaking point for the mom of three came while watching the show back and thinking about the impact her choices made on her daughters.

As reported, Shannon is gearing up for a custody war with her ex David — she’s seeking physical custody of her daughters, Sophie, 16, and twins Stella and Adaline, 13.

Shannon will address what led to the demise of her marriage on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in the second week of November.
