Back on the market!
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga has relisted her New Jersey mansion for $3.5million after pulling it off the market in 2013.
The reality star and her husband Joe Gorga, officially put their 9,000-square-foot Montville mansion on the market on Monday.
“My family and I have so many amazing memories in this house; Joe and I built and designed it from the ground up,” Melissa Gorga said in a statement. “However, we decided it was time for a change and we’re excited to see where life brings us next.”
The couple purchased the home in 2007 for $950,000, per property records, but announced they would be leaving for Franklin Lakes and rent out the home in 2012. Shortly after, they got tangled in a nasty legal battle with the tenant, who argued he would not pay rent because Joe had failed to make promised repairs.
The family then moved back into the Montville home, and put the ‘dream home’ they had built in Franklin Lakes up for sale, before ever having lived in it. In October 2016, the Gorga’s realtor claimed the Franklin Lakes property had sold but property records indicate that the home remains under ownership of the Gorga’s.
