90 Day Fiance’s David is taken to task by his future bride, Annie, in tonight’s episode of the TLC hit. Annie implies that true love only goes so far — and that her idea of life in America means cash, and plenty of it.
In a preview clip, Annie drills her Kentucky groom about his bleak financial condition.
“I just don’t understand why you’re 48 but you still don’t have anything,” a frustrated Annie tells David. “You still don’t have anything.”
David explains that after his divorce, he lost his “big home, cars and all that.”
“That’s before, not now,” Annie fires back. “You have to think now. You have to think about future. You don’t have to talk about your past. I don’t want to hear anything.”
Annie and David met in Annie’s home country of Thailand, and TLC is chronicling David’s effort to bring his quickie bride back to America, on a K1 visa.
“If you want someone who has a million dollars in the bank, I’m sorry. I don’t,” David says. Annie informs him that “every lady wants” a millionaire.
“That’s your job, not mine,” Annie says, referencing a secure financial future. “I am here already. If you don’t take care of me, I just say ‘Bye.’ ”
David’s visiting American friends busted him during the premiere episode, revealing that David is hungry for marriage, and eager to borrow money. David and Annie were engaged after dating for only 10 days.
Catch up with David and Annie’s story on tonight’s episode of 90 Day Fiance, at 9 pm, ET, on TLC.
