‘I Want Out’ #RHOC Star Kelly Dodd to Divorce Husband Michael After 11 Years of Marriage!
Real Housewives of Orange County star, Kelly Dodd, announced earlier today that she plans to file for divorce from her husband, Michael Dodd, after eleven years of marriage. The couple shares a daughter, Jolie, 11.
“Our marriage is over, I’m out of there!” the reality star told the Daily Mail in an interview published on Wednesday. “We’ve had problems for years and I’ve had enough. I’m done with our marriage. It’s just a case where two people can’t get along. It’s best if we went our separate ways and concentrate on our daughter.”
Kelly and Michael gave their marriage a second shot in 2012 — rebounding after Kelly’s initial decision to file for divorce.
“I filed for divorce against Michael in 2012 and we never had any resolution. The case was just sitting there,” Kelly explained. “So I’m going to ask my attorney to file a motion so I can get a bifurcated divorce.”

In a bifurcated divorce the couple’s marital status is terminated prior to official finalization of settlement issues.
“I want out of my marriage as soon as possible,” the reality star added. “We can figure out the financials of our divorce down the road.”
Kelly, 42, told the outlet that the couple has been miserable, and that she’s ready to call it quits.
“We aren’t good together,” Kelly continued. “Maybe we’ll be better to each other when we are divorced and are friends. But right now we are both miserable and it’s not good for either one of us, let alone our daughter. Over the past several years we’ve had our ups and downs, and lately it’s been mostly downs.”
Kelly has been open about her ongoing marital discontent on the Bravo show, so the split will come as no shocker to most fans. Do you think that the couple is done for good?
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Monday nights, on Bravo.
