Hurricane Harvey made landfall as a Category 4 hurricane along the coast of Texas on Friday, bringing torrential rainfall and leading to unprecedented, deadly flooding in parts of the state. People formed human chains, carried pets above their heads and hopped into boats to save people they’d never met.

Harvey dropped a record 50 inches of rain by Tuesday morning in Houston, TX, causing flooding that left an estimated 30,000 people in need shelter, according to FEMA. The devastating affects of the storm will affect the area for years to come. The National Weather Service stated, “This event is unprecedented and all impacts are unknown.”

A few inspiring Bravolebrities have stepped up to help the victims of #HurricaneHarvey in the wake of the destruction left by the natural disaster.

Star of The Real Housewives of New York, Bethenny Frankel, has pledged $30,000 through her B Strong Charity to help women who have been affected by the storm.

No matter how much it may be, all donations help. My heart goes out to Houston!”
