Luann D’Agostino’s #RHONY Costars Speak Out After Her ‘Sad’ Divorce Announcement!
Luann D’Agostino’s co-stars are offering their support, after announcing Thursday via her Twitter, that she and husband Tom D’Agostino are divorcing.
“It’s with great sadness that Tom & I agreed to divorce,” wrote the former Countess. “We care for each other very much, hope you respect our privacy during this sad time!”
Ramona Singer responded to Luann’s divorce announcement on Twitter by saying, “I am so sad for you ….” She also shared her reaction to the news in a statement to E! News on Thursday. “My heart breaks for her,” Ramona said. “Luann went into this wanting to make it work. I’ve never seen her happier.”
Sonja Morgan commented to E! News after news of the split went viral.
”I told Luann I’m there for her whether this worked out or not and here I am. Men come and go, and at the end the day, we have our girlfriends, don’t we?” Sonja said. “I wanted it to work out, but I want her to know I’m here for her.”
Fans know that Sonja and Tom have an intimate past, a touchy dynamic hashed out by Bravo, during Luann and Tom’s controversial romance.
Tinsley Mortimer also sent some love Luann’s way.
“My heart goes out to Luann during this difficult time,” the RHONY newbie told E! News. “In life, some people think that it’s holding on that makes one strong; however, sometimes it’s letting go.”
Dorinda Medley, who introduced the couple in 2015, is hopeful that Luann and Tom will remain amicable.
“Luann is very good at [remaining friendly] with all her exes,” she said. “I think obviously this one might be hard at the beginning, but Luann’s not like that. She keeps it moving. She makes a decision. Every one of her exes she’s still very close to. I’m sure it will take time. I love Luann — she’s a good girl. She deserves happiness and I’m here to help her whatever way I can.”
Surprisingly, no word yet from Bethenny Frankel, who warned Luann before her NYE’s nuptials that she was “making a big mistake,” marrying Tom.
