TLC New Series ’90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’ — Meet the Cast & Get Juicy Details! (Video)

TLC is hitting the rewind button on international reality hit, 90 Day Fiance.

In a new spinoff series, called Before the 90 Days, viewers will get a peek at four hopeful internet couples meeting for the first time. Four Americans will travel abroad, hoping to hit it off with their online love interests, while fulfilling the in-person requirement of the K-1 visa process. The U.S. government requires a face-to-face meeting, and recommends being in a relationship for at least five weeks, before filing a petition for the visa. The series will mark the first time that TLC has documented the pre-visa phase — so let’s meet the hopeful couples! Be sure to notice the common thread — a substantial age gap! 

Darcey (Middletown, Connecticut) and Jesse (Amsterdam, The Netherlands)

Darcey, 42, and Jesse, 24, met on a global dating app. Darcey was instantly intrigued by Jesse’s hot bod, and after several months of long distance chatting, the couple is prepped to take their relationship to the next level. Darcey is a divorced mother of two pre-teen daughters, and Jesse is a personal trainer and fitness model. Darcey will travel to Amsterdam to come face to face with her dream-hunk.

Sean (Springfield, Ohio) and Abby (Port-au-Prince, Haiti)

Sean, 47, met Abby, 20 on a dating site, and the duo has spent months communicating via  texts, calls, and video chats. Sean plans to travel to Haiti to sweep Abby off her feet with an engagement ring, but there’s worry that Abby’s friendship with an ex might cause complications. Will Sean put a ring on it?

Paul (Louisville, Kentucky) and Karine (Tonantins, Brazil)

Paul, 34, and Karine, 21, met on a dating app that highlights Latinas. This couple should be extra interesting, because neither one can speak the other’s language, and rely on translated text messages as their mode of communication. Karine’s home village is located on the Amazon river, and Paul plans to travel internationally for the first time, in order to land his online sweetheart. 

Larry (Pinellas Park, Florida) and Jenny (Urdaneta City, Philippines)

Larry, 37, and Jenny, 24, met on a dating site focused on Filipino women. Larry’s planned trip to the Philippines hits a roadblock when he makes a discovery that calls Jenny’s intentions into question. Larry seeks the truth behind the shocker, and is determined to figure out if Jenny is really in it for all the right reasons.
