Jenelle Evans Slams Mother Who Rescued Her From Heroin Addiction Ahead of #TeenMom2 Season 8 Premiere!

Jenelle Evans is about to start a brand new season — so why does the Teen Mom 2 star sound like a bitter, broken record?

E News traveled to North Carolina to catch up with the MTV starlet, sitting down with the mother of three and her fiancé, David Eason, in their home.

Will Jenelle’s country beau ever put a ring on it? Jenelle says yes — and that a September backyard wedding in the works. Strangely, Jenelle has not yet purchased a dress for an event supposedly only two months away. Is Jenelle raking in the designer freebies — or will she hit the rack at the local bridal outlet? 

“Trust me, I’m kind of like freaking out in my head,” Jenelle said. “But I am going wedding dress shopping.”

Jenelle presented a rosy picture of a happy family — but could not resist backsliding into nasty banter about her mother, Barbara Evans. Barbara maintains custody of Jenelle’s first chid, Jace, and has battled Jenelle in court to keep the boy with the only real mother the seven-year-old has ever known.

Jenelle spoke of her downward spiral on drugs — highlighting the reason it was necessary for Barbara to save her son.

“I think my low point was with my drug issue and the whole heroin thing,” Jenelle recalled. “I almost overdosed and died. I was trying to run away from my problems.”

Jenelle has made no secret of the fact that she wants her mother off MTV — but also knows that Barbara is an overwhelming fan favorite. Jenelle and David both slammed Barbara in rinse and repeat blasts, revealing mindsets cemented in immature bitterness. Jenelle diagnosed her mother with an  “attachment issue” and labeled her “entitled.” Jenelle’s commentary was void of any reference to Jace’s ultimate well-being.

Jenelle continued to give the courts a reason to keep Jace right where he is. Jenelle openly confessed that she’s prepared to axe her son’s grandmother out of the picture.

“[Barbara] knows if she gives him to me that I will cut her off. That will be it. She’s scared,” Jenelle stated.

Jenelle is starting off her umpteenth season bashing the woman who rescued her son from a pit of addiction hell. Same old, same old.
