A new season of The Real Housewives of Orange County has launched — and Vicki Gunvalson is keeping things positive, as her twelfth reality ride takes off. Vicki’s first Bravo blog of the season catches viewers up on her personal life, and her relationships within the cast.

Vicki reveals that prior to filming, she had not spoken to Tamra Judge or Shannon Beador since the Season 11 reunion. She remains hopeful that friendships can be rebuilt, but writes that she will not tolerate being bullied.

“It has been a while since I talked with Tamra or Shannon. Actually, it had been since last year’s reunion. I knew starting this season was going to be awkward and difficult, but I’m not going to allow them to bully me any longer and to make accusations that just aren’t truthful. I am hopeful that we can all be friends again, because life is easier that way.”

Vicki reveals that she spent some of her off-time with co-star, Kelly Dodd, and shares that Kelly’s hubby, Michael, has become good friends with her boyfriend, Steve Lodge.

Vicki catches fans up on what’s happening with her daughter, Briana’s husband, Ryan Culberson.

Briana has been working as a nurse and has been taking the care of the boys on her own while Ryan has been waiting for his retirement release date in OKC. Good news as of this week is that he has his release date and will be officially retired from the United States Marine Corps as of 8/30/17. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he ventures into the civilian life after being a marine for so long.”

Vicki weighs in on the tense kitchen convo between David and Shannon — and spills an update on the dynamic with her former friend.

“I felt bad for Shannon when she was in the kitchen with David cooking. I have to believe most men don’t like quinoa as it tastes like you’re eating air and has very little flavor. Beyond the dinner conversation, more importantly I feel sorry for her sadness. I don’t know if Shannon and I will ever be friends again like we were, but I am hopeful. I care about her and hate to see her so sad. We have never had an opportunity to sit down to discuss things calmly and I believe if we did do so, the past may be able to be left in the past and we can move on. I hope one day we can.”

Vicki wasn’t going to conclude her first blog of the season before she dished about the current love in her life — her boyfriend, Steve.

“What a breath of fresh air this man has been in my life. You saw a little of him last year, but since then we have been able to take our relationship to the “next level” and he makes me very happy. He is smart, calm (you all know I am not too calm but working on it), and incredibly good looking. Our families have blended wonderfully together, the boys adore him, Briana and Ryan respect him, Mike is happy for me, and when I am in my quiet time, I thank God for giving me the opportunity to love again when I never thought it was possible.”

Vicki is also amped about her relocated professional life, and is happy that viewers will be able to catch glimpses of Coto Financial’s snazzy new digs.

Vicki has high hopes for great season — but it’s only week one, so buckle up!
