True Tea! Bravo Fired Phaedra Parks For Hiding Her Personal Life From Cameras
Disgraced attorney, Phaedra Parks, was handed her walking papers after her lies blow up at The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 9 reunion.
Although there was no coming back from the massive reunion scandal, it appears that the Southern Belle’s future with the hit Bravo series was far from secured. Reportedly, the network was no longer willing to accommodate Phaedra hiding her real life from the cameras.
“Phaedra was not renewed because she wasn’t willing to share her true personal life,” a source explained to RadarOnline. “Producers have been begging her to date and open up about what truly went on in her marriage to Apollo [Nida] and react to Apollo’s girlfriend.”
The network had issues justifying her million dollar salary based on her masked narrative.
“Phaedra’s storyline just doesn’t warrant her $1.3 million paycheck,” the source concluded.
As reported, Parks started a rumor about co-star, Kandi Burruss, and her husband, Todd Tucker, attempting to kidnap, drug and rape Porsha Williams. The terminated Real Housewives of Atlanta star is pointing fingers at show producers. She claims they fed her lies, then fired her after she exposed their alleged involvement.
Bravo has not officially commented on Phaedra’s future, but supposedly the network hasn’t closed the door entirely.
“The network has reassured Phaedra that she is always welcome to appear in future installments as a guest,” the insider insisted. “Since the reunion taping, Phaedra has remained in constant contact with Andy Cohen,” another insider revealed. “She feels that she wasn’t given the proper edit.”
