Damage Control: Former #RHOA Star Phaedra Parks Blames Bravo Producers For Reunion Rape Scandal!
One minute she’s a beloved southern belle desperate for press — the next, she’s a shamed attorney hiding from the spotlight.
Phaedra Parks is doing some serious damage control after being exposed as a liar, at the recent Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion conclusion.
As an attorney, Phaedra knows very well that being tied to this massive scandal has the potential to damage her both personally and professionally — so she’s deflecting.
The fired RHOA star is now casting blame at a Bravo producer following her morality clause violation during the reunion show.
“There are lines listed in all cast members’ contracts that they cannot cross,” a source told Page Six. “Libel is one of them. She’s in breach of contract and the cast basically said, ‘Us or her.’”
As reported, Phaedra started a nasty rumor about co-star, Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, wanting to kidnap, drug and rape Porsha Williams. The rumor was later proved to be 100% false.
The 43-year old claims a producer provided her with the false information.
“Phaedra tried to blame producers for manipulating the scenario, and it was cut from the reunion show. They’re not allowed to break the ‘fourth wall’ and talk about production. It may not have been entirely Phaedra’s fault, but she has to take the fall,” a insider said.
It’s difficult to believe that a bright attorney — who starred on a reality series for SEVEN seasons — would easily be influenced to repeat a slanderous comment (without proof) from a producer.
“A producer who told her the drug and rape story.”a Parks source said. “Which she repeated to another cast member. It snowballed. The editing was not kind to her.”
Compounding a lie with another lie, is likely what led to Phaedra‘s dismissal from her reality gig.
There is no exaggerating the saying, “it takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it.”
